You're currently at anchor in your home port. As you'll see, swail is rather easy.

You can now give orders to route your boat using the left and right keys.

The up and down arrows allows you to zoom in and out easily.

At anchor, to leave your position, just use the left and right keys to see the boat start and leave anchor. Each of you orders will be executed in the next 10 seconds, each second if you zoom in.
